The Messenger accepts all levels of writing submissions on a wide variety of topics. We also accept photos with captions, artwork, book & movie reviews, and games/puzzles.

Time-sensitive material will receive priority; all others will be printed at the discretion of the editor. All submissions are due by the fifteenth of each month to be considered for the next issue.

Please send all submissions and high-resolution photos directly to the editor by emailing messenger@swedenborg.org or by clicking the button below.

All subscriptions renew August 1 annually.

Subscribe between April 1, 2024 and October 31, 2024 for a rate of $25/$30/$35 annually.

Subscribe between November 1, 2023 and March 31, 2024 for a rate of:

  • U.S. Address –$40/year
  • Canadian Address – $45/year
  • Other Address – $50/year

Renews August 1, 2025 at a rate of $25/$30/$35 annually after that.

Beki Greenwood

Meet Beki Greenwood

Beki Greenwood has been serving as Editor of the Messenger since February of 2020. She has experience in books and magazines with roles in both editorial and design in a large publishing house. Beki has a bachelor’s degree in classical civilization and Greek language and literature and a love of art and design. A lifelong Swedenborgian, she has been on the Board of Directors since 2008 for the Fryeburg New Church Assembly in Maine, and is a long-time member of the Bridgewater New Jerusalem Church, in Massachusetts. She resides near Cape Cod with her husband, two children, and two cats named Lily and James.
