Details: For ages 13 – 18. Bring a sleeping bag (if you are not flying), PJs, a towel, personal items, musical instruments, and a friend! At our retreats, we offer life skills and spiritual sessions based on the principles of the Swedenborgian Church. We strive for a safe, secure, and inclusive environment to discuss and share relevant and meaningful ideas that help with the challenges youth face today. 

2025 Theme: “The 7 Deadly Sins (lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, and pride)”

While the Emanuel Swedenborg’s portrayal of damnation is quite different from most other Christian religions, he would certainly agree that an affection for one or more of the 7 deadly sins will steer you down a slippery slope towards hell. At this retreat we will learn about both the sins that lead you into the hells as well as the virtues that take you up to the heavens. I’m sure we’ll all benefit from the lively discussions and activities.
