Transitions Retreat Registration (Young Adult) The Swedenborgian Church Young Adult Transitions group holds retreats when possible. At retreats, young adults have free time for games, music, recreation, or just hanging out and talking. A few times a day, the young adults also meet for hour-long sessions with a leader or minister and/or work on special projects around the retreat center. At the sessions we talk about spiritual topics and discuss important life choices, values, and decisions. Sometimes we do crafts or projects related to the topic of discussion. It is very important to note that young adults that attend these retreats are not forced or coerced into changing their beliefs. We also do not demand any agreement or attempt to “convert” adults to our religion. In the Transitions group we honor and appreciate everyone’s own individual spiritual path. We share information that we have found helpful in our lives, listen to attendees’ thoughts and beliefs, and learn from each other.
