The Swedenborgian Church of North America has resources established over the past century to help with funding of different concerns. These monies are restricted and held in the Common Fund. Each fund has its own set of guidelines and trustees, some elected and some appointed, who administer the grants and loans.

These grants are managed by the Standing Committee of Financial Accountability (SCFA). The SCFA meets once a year to review grant applications and determine the recipients of the grant money for the following year. These applications are due on August 15 every year.
