Details: On this Memorial Day weekend, we will host two retreats at one location! Our SCYL teens (13-18) will gather with the young adult Transitions group (19-30). Some activities will be together, such as meals and recreation, some activities will be separate, like sessions and sleeping arrangements.
Bring a sleeping bag (if you are not flying), PJs, towel, personal items, musical instruments, and a friend!
At our retreats we offer life skills and spiritual sessions based on the principles of the Swedenborgian
Church. We strive for a safe, secure and inclusive environment to discuss and share relevant and
meaningful ideas that help with challenges youth and young adults face today. We work, play, craft and learn together as a community. We have fun! See you there!
2026 Theme: Becoming You: A Retreat on Freedom, Formation, and Divine Providence
Our theme for this retreat will explore the powerful question: Who am I becoming? Through the lens of Emanuel Swedenborg’s teachings on Divine Providence, we’ll discover how freedom, choices, and everyday experiences shape who we are. Together, we’ll learn how Providence quietly works in our lives—guiding, protecting our freedom, and helping form our character and purpose. Through conversation, reflection, and shared activities, we will explore how our unique path, struggles, and decisions are part of a larger story of becoming the person we were created to be.
