Join us this year for the 200th Convention of the Swedenborgian Church of North America!
Swedenborg: Envisioning the Future
Our theme at our 200th anniversary mark is “Swedenborg: Envisioning the Future.” We are planning both a wonderful in-person setting at the deluxe conference center at Michigan State University in East Lansing while also supporting virtual participation!
Registration for in-person attendance closes May 15th while Virtual attendance registration closes June 15th.
Memorial Day Youth Retreat Registration Open!
2024 Theme: The Universal Human
At this retreat we will study the amazing human body. Together we will play games, do crafts, and learn all about the spiritual nature of our body. Did you know that according to Emanuel Swedenborg heaven is in the form of one great divine human being? Just like each part of the body has a specific job to do, each community in heaven works together like a part of the body with a special function also. As an angel, you might be a member of the knee, arm, brain, or tongue community, or even in the stomach, intestines, or bladder (yuck!). Come to this retreat and while enjoying great food, recreation, and free time with friends you will unlock the mysteries of the human body and learn how all of us play a part in the Universal Human.
On this Memorial Day weekend, we will host two retreats at one location! Our SCYL teens (13-18) will gather with the young adult Transitions group (19-30). Some activities will be together, such as meals and recreation, some activities will be separate, like sessions and sleeping arrangements.
